  ALPHARETTA, Ga. ? Jean Elizabeth Tyson, age 83, of Alpharetta, died April 11, 2008.
  
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Tyson; sister, Joyce Kesel; and brothers, Phillip, Russell and Jack Kesel.
  
  Mrs. Tyson is survived by sons, Wayne Tyson (Nora) of Singapore and Steve Tyson (Louana) of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Terry Knauff (Karl) of Canton, Ga., and Sharon Keegan-Coppels (Preston) of Leesburg, Va.; brothers, James C. Kesel of Woodbridge, Va., and William Kesel of Martinez, Ga.; sisters, Nancy Sexton of Monroe, N.C., Carol Wilkinson of Shiloh, Ill., Charlotte Sullivan and sister-in-law, Margaret VanAuken, both of Fredericksburg, Va.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
  
  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carol Wilkinson officiating.
  
  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or United Hospice.
  
  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
  
  Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Rosewell/Alpharetta, is in charge of arrangements.
